“My newest artistic venture begins with the classic 1960’s-1970’s pivoting hood Galaxie design by Smith Corona,  the AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR of typewriters. These machines are solid performers, considered the most advanced portables of their time. To honor it, and Smith Corona’s long standing automobile inspired designs, I’ve chosen to embellish them with classic 70’s flake paint jobs. These have the same godzillian step technique as seen on custom cars and motorcycle gas tanks. Each machine from the Galaxie Class series have been meticulously cleaned, lubricated, refurbished, repaired, and tested.

A new ribbon has either been installed ( by rewinding onto vintage metal spools), or included if the found ribbon is still useful.

The cases are functional, and have also been cleaned and repaired when necessary. The standard black plastic cases have been given a color treatment that reflects vintage luggage of the period.
